Roy Maimon, a graduate student in Eran Perlson's lab at Tel-Aviv University, spent several weeks in the laboratory over the summer. During this time, he learned several new techniques and showed us how to create specialized chamber slides for tracking neurite outgrowth. Roy also met all the 'nicest guys' (and girls), went to the 'big house', and integrated seamlessly into the lab. We'll miss him!
Pickney State Recreation Area, Pickney, MI. A beautiful day for a hike. There's some good science going on out here, too.
Carol Gannon's 5th grade class at the Hebrew Day School in Ann Arbor visited our laboratory on 5/20/2016, together with members of Ann Arbor Active Against ALS, a local grassroots foundation supporting a wide range of ALS-related activities. This year, the children raised over $3000 for ALS research — way to go!
