Ahmed's and Josephine's paper was just accepted!!

Congrats to Ahmed, Josephine and all coauthors! This was a joint effort with Vikram Shakkottai (now at UTSW), demonstrating a molecular mechanism for MATR3 regulation in response to neuronal activity.

Bonus points for recognizing the previous lab member in the pic

Jason's paper on MTMR5 and neuronal autophagy was just accepted at Current Biology — congrats Jason!!

Sadly, they don't accept memes as graphical abstracts.

Check out the final version via ScienceDirect (until July 5th).

Congrats to Jason Chua, who was recently appointed as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Johns Hopkins University! We will miss Jason, probably just as much as we will miss his memes and incredibly detailed video representations of the complex intersection between biology, socioeconomical factors, modern epidemiology and career development.
